This Wine Route is a living postcard picture : whether vertically or horizontally planted the vineyard offers a patchwork of colours that covers our hills gorgeously. Ruins of medieval castles rise here and there. In our villages, surrounded by old walls, you'll discover flower-decked streets, welcoming inns (winstubs) and inviting wine cellars ; our half-timbered houses still bear baroque signs and the bell towers rise proudly from our Roman or Gothic churches.
For every one of these unforgettable sights, the Wine Route from its gateway at Thann in the South to the one in Marlenheim in the North deserves your visit all along its 170 kms. Come and meet the wine-growers, taste their wines (moderately) and discover their passion for their vines.
All along these 170 kms, you'll be under the spell of what the French and especially the Alsatians call the « art de vivre ».
Monday to Saturday, 9am to 1pm and 2pm to 6pm
